I've just spent a fortune on a Motion platform which will fit straight onto the rig. Can't wait to use it. Consider this rig if you might want to splash out on a motion platform in the future. Good setup but not leaning far enough back or sitting low enough for F1 style. They do another seat that you can change between the two styles (F-GT I think) **Q: Is this too heavy/cumbersome to store somewhere and set up each time I want to use it?** A: Yes, 100%. This is a very robust sim rig. It's about 5 foot long, 4 ft high and with the wheel and pedals fitted probably weighs about 50 kg, it comes with a set of casters that make it very easy to move but its still 4ft long. A friend of mine also has one of these and he keeps his under his stairs, when he wants to race he simply wheels it to his tv, connects 1 usb cable and 1power cable and bingo. if your serious about sim racing you need this, very good quality all round **Q: Would this be suitable for a 10 year old? He is fairly tall for his age at about 4ft 6”.** A: Yes would be fine as the seat moves backwards and forwards like a real car. **Q: What is the covering of the seat, made out of?** A: Faux leather. A niche downside for me, having the Logitec pro is the back two screws fit perfectly onto the mounting plate but the front one doesn't so unfortunately does require the clamp at the front for me not a deal breaker and you can't really tell it's there. The thing I worry about for my situation future is equipping a second Logitech pro handbrake/gear shifter on the extended plate again a very niche problem...
