Then I opened the box. The lift-out top tray had fallen down on one side and was jammed into the bottom section of the jewelry box The problem is the side rails that the top tray is supposed to rest on are much too narrow, only 0.25" each. Since the lift-out top tray doesn't have tabs and thus is 5/8" smaller than the box, there is only a 0.125", one eight of an inch, of railing for the tray to rest,I want to find a way to make this work since the rest of the box is great and the price point was very reasonable. I planned on keeping seasonal jewelry here to free up space in my armoire. If anyone has this and can offer some helpful hints to make the top shelf stay on the rails, especially when the weight of jewelry is added, I'd appreciate it.I am rating this only 2 stars because this seems to be a manufacturing design flaw, which I see some people stated with the white version. Very disappointing since this could be a great item.
