Can these be used on a hauck newborn car seat? I've lost the original pads and want to find a safe alternative

I don't see why not. It is universal. It work for my cybex car seat, and also for my urbo2 mamas ans papas pushchair.

Do these have a tendency to slip down when in use?

The grey ones are Velcro. Other colours are stitched and slip on only so I presume they will slide around on the strap.

If you can thread things onto the straps then yes. These aren’t Velcro so they must slide over the straps
