Unless your ECU constantly checks for fuel octane and self adjusts for timing accordingly. **Q: will this work in my Sthil chain saw that calls for NO Ethanol gas ????** A: NO! If this is added to ethanol containing gas, the ethanol is still there. It only raises octane. The ethanol will still cause the fuel to destabilize and coagulate over time.
