My husband made a desk for me to use to work on my art. I needed a smaller chair with no arms that was adjustable for height, back height and tilt. This fit the requirements, and it was available in a teal color to match my decor. I suppose if I changed anything it would be to have more padding on the seat, but I am considering a memory foam cushion or perhaps just a thin cushion. It's not uncomfortable, but it's firm. My husband put the chair together with no difficulty. I recently ordered a leather office chair with arms for the desk in our library office, and I like this OFM chair better because the base seems more stable. I have tipped the leather chair over and fallen to the floor when leaning forward on one occasion and almost fallen on two other occasions. This OFM chair feels more stable in proportion to the size of the base. I think I will be very happy with this chair.Additional Note 2/3/17 - My 12 year old grandson was using the chair. He has high functioning Asperger's and gets excited when he's playing video games. I suspect he was bouncing at the time, but one of the legs snapped (the plastic broke). Of course, the chair fell over, he fell on the floor and the back of the chair bent. The chair is only six months old, but it's now useless. I'm very disappointed that such a nice looking chair turned out not to be sturdier. I've revised my rating. It's still a lovely chair and would work for gentle use. The chair seat and back are very firm. Using it for long periods of time would hurt my back, which is why I let my grandson put it in his room as a desk chair, but the chair continued to look good until it broke. As much as I love the appearance, I will not order another chair. I'll look for something more substantial. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOT BAD! LIKE ALL OFFICE CHAIRS, ITS GOT A COUPLE OF MINOR SHORTCOMINGS, BUT ITS WORTH THE PRICE. *by W***T on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2016* I've purchased several OFM-brand office chairs over this past year or two, and they're generally great chairs for the price. That said, there are always a few shortcomings with every model, regardless of pricing, but the only two observations that I have about this particular model are as follows:1) The two cushions (seat and back) are extremely stiff (i.e., sciatic-nerve stiff!). They're THAT stiff! I suspect that they'll both soften-up over time, but prospective consumers should be aware of the fact, that at least initially, they are going to be quite stiff.2) The two handles shown in the product photo will not end-up being located as low as pictured in the photo. Once assembled, those two handles are much, much closer to the underside of the seat cushion. They're still readily accessible, but nowhere near as open and accessible as depicted in the photo.Otherwise, this is a perfectly great chair for the budget conscious! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like the chair but I think it was a return *by C***M on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2018* I put this chair together without too much difficulty, and it is comfortable and higher than my old one, which I required. My only complaint is that I think this chair was sold to someone else who returned it before they completely put it together. At first I thought one part of the telescopic bellows was missing, but discovered that one part of the 3-part unit was still on the gas lift. Apparently someone had tried to put it together but gave up and returned it. One of the small boxes that some parts came in was torn open. The base was very dusty and there is a very very small pick in the seat material.
