    I dont know what this does

Still dont know If i actually needed this but i used it in my protein shakes after workouts.  I think eating some quick oats would be a similar idea.  I think this stuff is made for hardcore training etc.  Too expensive to be a part of a regular workout regimine.  all I need is a dumbell and a sandwich

    Problem getting it to dissolve.

I used this in the Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach.  Not sure if it did any good.  Personally I prefer Polycose but it is no longer available.  My main problem with this is getting it to dissolve.  I would fill up my water bottle half way with hot tap water, mix in the Genr8, shake it quite vigorously for a minute , and then fill up the remainder with additional hot water.  I would then leave it in the refrigerator over night.  Sometimes it still wasn't sufficiently dissolved, but had globs of material in it.I would say the difficulty in getting it to dissolve as well as the cost will prevent me from getting this again.
