They were easy to install, adhered to the painted wall great. They did need to be laid flat under something to flatten them out since they came all rolled up in a tube mailer. But that was really secondary to their color, affordability, customed design and ease of applicating. The only flaw was that I needed to be very careful when adhering them to the wall since the fancy nature of the cursive writing was delicate.
