Botzees Easy-to-Build 6-in-1 Coding Robots for Kids with Puzzles, Augmented Reality STEM Toy, Ages 4,5,6,7,8,9,10+ Year old Boys and Girls (App Based)

These robots were intended to use in my elementary classroom thanks to tryazon and Pai Technologies. Unfortunately, my school was closed due to quaratine prior to these robots arriving. No worries, my 7 year old son has been enjoying playing with them. (I purchased 2) They were very easy to set up and use. we first had to charge the body of the robot and download the app, but once that was done my son took over. The 3d models on the app were very easy to follow. He has built most of the options on there as well as designed his own. In addition using the parts to build various robots, he loves playing the puzzles. He has some coding experience with an online coding site, so this was second nature to him. I love it because it keeps him busy and thinking! It's not one of those toys that he plays with once and then it sits in his toybox. He returns to this toy day after day. We highly reccommed this product.

My kids were excited to get a Botzee and start coding. It's nice that you can work on an app to control it, however, you have to make sure you have a compatible device to use the app. We ended up with one device that would use the app. Even though you can download the app on any device, it will pop up that you it isn't compatible when you try to use it. So while my kids enjoyed it, it was tough to use on my phone (not very big screen). I wasn't going to buy a new iPad just for one app. Additionally, this is a great intro to coding. My daughters have experienced coding with Legos and they are older (8-10 years old) so the Botzees quickly lost interest. I think if they were 4-7 years old, this would be perfect!

Botzee is a wonderful hands-on coding robot for children. It is simple enough for young learners - Kindergarten aged- to operate, and provides a variety of engaging features for older students as well. As a teacher, I will be using it in all of my K-3rd grade classes. Not only can Botzee move through block coding, it has Lego-like pieces so it can be assembled in at least 8 different contraptions. App works with phones and iPad (and other tablets) and recharges via USB. Clever and creative coding fun robot!

My son is a 4 with various developmental and physical special needs. Like other young children in his preschool, he wants to be able to build with blocks and code robots! However, my son has low muscle tone in his hands and struggles with object manipulation and visual spatial tasks. As a 15 year tenured teacher and mom, I highly recommend this product. BOTZEES IS A GAME CHANGER FOR my son! He has repeatedly seen his friends and other young boys in the neighborhood play with EV3 robots, Duplos, and LEGOs. These competitor items are frustrating for my son because the sharp 90 degree corners make it impossible for him to snap together and take apart the pieces, even the larger Duplos marketed for his age. In addition, the directions for building with the competitor products are not easy to follow. For a child who struggles with muscle tone and visual spatial tasks, it makes him feel very frustrated and constantly left out. He has all but given up on any kind of building. Then, we went to the Toy and Game Fair in Chicago. He saw this product and immediately and INDEPENDENTLY built 3 robots! The round corners of the product allowed him to manipulate the blocks with ease and the 360 degree views made it so that he could build the robot with almost NO ADULT intervention. Seeing this level of independence and excitement after so many other experiences of utter frustration was amazing. If you are a parent or teacher who buys products for young children or children with special needs, this is one of the best out there in the STEM category! I have seen many other products marketed for young children, but they are not developmentally appropriate. This product is perfect for that 4 - 7 age group as well as for my special needs son. I am thrilled to have found BOTZEES as it hits every box on my teacher and mom with SPED kid checklists. :)

I was very fortunate to be chosen from Tryazon and Pai Technology to use Botzees with my students. Due to the covid-19 quarantine and schools being closed, I had my son open and use it to check it out before using with my students. I loved the ease of putting it together, building different robots and navigating the app. He had lots of fun with it. I cannot wait to see my students build and code with it. A great learning kit. I purchased these for use in my classroom. Since the schools are closed for the year, my family has enjoyed playing with them at home. Fun to build, as well as to program and complete the challenges. I just wish they would run on other platforms. I don't have a iPad at home. It works on my iPhone but would be much easier on a tablet or laptop. Very excited for my classes to use them along with our coding and programming lessons.

Fun to build. However, straight out of the box, the drive mechanism doesn’t function correctly causing the robot to drive in circles only. Disappointing to spend so much on a faulty product.

This little dude is cool! I’m a teacher and loved getting to try this through Tryazon. It’s a great product for elementary age kids, and developmentally appropriate. The building blocks are easy to assemble and the instructions on the screen are very helpful for little ones. I love that you can code with it. Coding is a great skill for kids to have. Overall, I would definitely encourage other educators and parents to purchase these. They’re a great resource for kids to incorporate STEAM play.
