How many hours of music playtime can i expect from a single charge?

The battery life on this set is no joke. Here's my daily routine.  I wake up at 3:30am. Get ready for work.  I leave usually about 5:00am to drive to work. I turn the elgin ruckus earbuds at that time.  I keep them on all day and connected to my cell phone non stop.  I'm a Union Operating Engineer Operating equipment.  I listen to YouTube videos playing in the background from 5am clear through the time i arrive back home around 8pm at night give our take about another hour depending when i get off work. I have never yet had them get low on battery.  I've pushed them further... on the weekends i might not go home but I'll maybe go to my girl's house afterwards and stay until the next day.  I will still continue to use them late that night and into the next day some when I'm bored and she's busy.  I'll use them again on my 1.5 hour drive home and still never get the low battery warning.

Now throughout my work day at times i will pause my videos here and there randomly for short periods i might have to talk to crew members. But I'm literally playing and listening to videos easily 90% of the time I'm at work working a 10 to 14 hour shift.

First set I've found that literally last without dying.  One more thing.  I am sometimes rough on them and forget i have them on and accidentally rip them out of my ears taking a sweatshirt off or something.  I've done this a lot.  Yet,  they still work and I've probably had them a good 4 or 5 months so far.

I'm about to order a second pair just to have for backup in case these die on me.

Are these strictly for listening or would I be able to receive and make calls?

How are thes on a loud Harley

Use these for work and a loud Harley. They work great to block wind and exhaust while listening to music.  Long battery life. I can ride all day with them playing. Cord makes it nice to remove and keep track of around your neck. Don't count on being able to answer a call though. They cancel out your voice and all the other side can hear is wind.

Why do my earbuds disconnect and reconnect when there is no sound going through them.

One of your in use devices are low on battery or both are. Your ear buds and phone or whatever your using. You can disable your battery saver on your phone, etc and with the headset, after a quick 15 minute charge, it should fix the problem.
