Unfortunately, the price is just for one. For what this is, I would say a price of $9.99 would be far more reasonable. In addition, that would further indicate that it's just for one. The current price is $28.00! So yeah, of *course* I expected two.I need two of these, so I had to begrudgingly order a 2nd one. I feel extremely ripped off now, but at least I have what I need. I'm using these as practice hi-hats since low-volume hi-hats are far more expensive and I'm on a very limited income. Besides, I'm practicing along with recordings as my at-home practice routine to get ready for gigs. So I don't need a realistic cymbal sound (and I'd imagine low-volume hi-hats to be louder than these plastic cymbals anyway). I only need something to hit because otherwise I'd have to hit air, pretending my hi-hats are there - and in my experience, that puts too much strain on my muscles after 3-5 hours of practice. Another benefit of having these is, it enables me to have my hi-hat stand in my simple practice setup (practice pad and pedal practice pad with my bass drum pedal) so that my left foot isn't on the floor while my right foot is on my bass drum pedal (again, attached to a pedal practice pad). Having my left foot on the floor while my right foot is on the bass drum pedal is an uncomfortable imbalance that always causes leg fatigue after a while in both of my legs.Anyway, so you might be wondering why I gave this a 4-star rating instead of a much lower rating when I'm unhappy about the fact that it's a rip-off since this price is just for one. My reason is simple: this is a product rating, not a price rating. If this were a price rating, it would get just 1 star (which I gave for the 'Value for money' category). After all, it's just plastic in the shape of a cymbal! heh As a product rating, I'm considering the fact that, for what this is, I see no reason to give it a rating any lower than 4 stars. It is so far exactly as advertised. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is, these are 13.5", not 14".Unrelated, but still good to know: as practice hi-hats, they are somewhat easy to invert if I press too hard on the hi-hat pedal. Fortunately, I've found they're just sturdy enough that I have to consciously try to invert them in order to do it. Another thing that's good to know is, suction is easily created between them even with my bottom cymbal tilter set to its most aggressive setting, and this suction lifts the bottom hi-hat practice cymbal often resulting in it being stuck on top of the cymbal sleeve (the part that sticks up and looks like a pipe). Fortunately, I'm finding that both of these things don't happen much when I'm focused on practicing. So price not considered, it deserves 4 stars.Again though: buyer beware, it's just one per order, not two. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars STOP! These are NOT trigger cymbals! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2020* I have four Pintech Percussion XT-14P practice cymbals on a Gibralter rack with silent drum pads for practicing. These are heavy polymer plastic that are used to keep your playing muscle memory in your brain.The title of this product is incorrect. There are no connections that you can use to hook up to your electronic drum kit and bash away. There are no triggers. It's more similar to a Frisbee than a drum trigger. That said, they're excellent if you have a silent pad drum kit and need some long-lasting silent-ish cymbals. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars nice practice cymbals *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2023* The XT-14P comes with two 14" plastic cymbals (14" hi-hats). Bought this to that I could practice hi-hat, snare, and bass rhythmic coordination, (I'm using a practice pad on stand for the snare and a bass drum practice pad). They have a little noise to them (since they are hard plastic) but not much. They are so much quieter than having actual cymbals (even with cymbal mutes real cymbals can be a little noisy -which I've tried).Pintech does offer other sizes to replicate splashes, crashes and rides.If you need practice cymbals that don't make too much noise (and disturb your family members and/or neighbors) these are it. Since I just got them, I'm not sure how long they will last but then I've never cracked a cymbal in my 40+ years of playing (professionally -- live and recording). If you beat on them, yeah, nothing you abuse will last. But if you use them as intended, then they should last a long time.These do NOT have triggers. They are NOT electronic cymbals but practice cymbals.
