[The MegaBOOM STS works separately from the MegaBOOM Universal and is intended to be used utilizing a bicycle floor tire pump, the MegaBOOM Air Pump (160 psi rated), compressor, or dive tank to pressurize the 1 or 2 liter recyclable soda or water bottle of your choice to a minimum of 105 psi.] This Steel Target System is a pressurizing device that allows you to pump air into ordinary, everyday, plastic soda or water bottles. I love it. and bought more for gifts. Itried to plumb two together on a pipe and when I shot the first one it blew the valve stems off ffom the cuncussion. I e-mailed the company to see if I could get parts and the CEO Ralph Hoetger said he would take care of it.Word of caution when you use them. let them stand on their own because they will not be in the same place after the shot. The only difference between men and boys is the noise of their toys ! ! ! Q ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice gadget, loud booms! *by H***W on November 21, 2017* Really fun!The plastic base WILL break after 2 uses, but the price difference for the metal one is ridiculous (at least when I checked)I ended up buying 3 more with the plastic base and after they broke, replaced the base with some leftover metal scraps. (much cheaper than buying the metal base ones)Be sure to use hearing and eye protection when filling 'em up, had one Pepsi 2L broke at a much lower pressure than the Coke ones.And don't trust the bottles, a 2L from Fanta won't handle the same pressure as a Pepsi or coke one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MegaBoom is MegaFUN! *by G***T on April 20, 2015* Great fun with 2 liter plastic bottles filled to 105psi. The BOOM is equivalent to a 12 gauge shotgun blast. They triggered very easily with a .177 pellet gun and never ceased to bring a smile to the faces of my guests. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the plastic base is very flimsy. After we shot a 2 Liter Coke bottle, the blast snapped the plastic base in two! I would have preferred to have seen this part in steel for durability sake.UPDATE: I'm adding a star to my review! I was contacted personally by MegaBOOM and they are sending out a new replacement base made with new indestructible polycarbonate!
