Sturdy Stool but Does Slide
This is a nice sturdy stool and is just right for my grandson to step up to the bathroom vanity and see in the mirror. However, it does tend to slide a bit when he leans over the sink to wash his hands. My grandson is of average size/weight for a 4 yr old so, it's not that it's too much weight. We both really like the stool with that extra step in it, so I will keep it and just make sure I'm with him when he's on it.

A "must have" for the kitchen
Perfect! I am a senior and yes, I have "shrunk"! Items at the top of my kitchen cupboards I could reach a year ago, I now cannot! I have chronic dizziness, so standing on a chair is impossible. This little stool is cute, it folds up neatly and flat and I can now reach my top cupboard! it is very stable, easy to take to other parts of the house and I feel safe on it. Simple fold out and it is ready for me-another very fine purchase!

A lot of reviews mentioned the risk of pinching fingers as the stool folds closed. Forewarned is prepared. I haven't had an issue as I place my hands carefully to avoid getting pinched. The stool is a little taller than similar ones from other manufacturers, but this one has a dainty step at the front, so I stop lightly there then up onto the top surface. It folds flat but the little step protrudes - just a bit. If planning to stope in a narrow space (such as next to the refrigerator) make allowance for the step.
