Wow, what kind of magic is this? My poor skin has been crepe like and thirsty lately. I ordered this amazing Rose & Frankincense cream ( more of an oil tbh which is perfect for my skin.) After spending time in the middle east I learnt what an awesome herbal addition Rose & Frankincense is but is soooo expensive to buy good quality Frankincense in the UK. I have used all the Frankincense ( from Oman.) and Rose water ( from Dubai.) that I bought back 😭😭. Soooo.... I searched good ole amazon and I really liked the look of Ilex Wood products due to the 100% natural ingredients and was super happy to see no Rosehip ( allergic! ) so went for it as the price was very appealing for such a product. Rewind back to 2 days ago when my products arrived promptly and beautifully packaged...... I also got Lemon & Bergamot Cleansing balm & Lemon & peppermint lip balm in a bulk buying deal....... I put the cleanser on ( very small amount goes a long way! ) the scent is heavenly and wakes up skin & senses leaving skin moisturised and awake, a lovely Rosy glow, I followed with the Rose & Frankincense Cream, It was a hot day and all products had gone more liquid but this reassured me of its natural ingredients, coconut oil does this in the hot weather then solidifys in the cooler temperatures ( today my miracle creams also had gone solid. ) the Rose & Frankencense cream smelt devine, again a small amount goes a long way! WOW..... My skin pinged back & more, its not felt this lovely and plump in a long time..... I ordered the Rose & Frankencense Serum yesterday as I love these products so much, it arrived today, again beautifully packaged, will try it tonight. The Lemon Balm & Peppermint Lip Balm is recommended for those that suffer cold sores due to its high anti viral properties, I don't suffer with cold sores but it leaves lips soft, moisturised and a little tingly from the peppermint 😊 Excellent products for my skin ( Dry/normal 😐.) I am in love, honestly, my fiancé even commented on how glowy and smooth my face looks. This is my new forever product. Absorbs well, can't say how it is under makeup yet as I'm still socially sheilding and cba with makeup atm ... I am a slob right now 🤣🤣🤣 a slob with plumped, glowing skin ❤️

This is actually lovely. When it arrived a few days ago, I thought the jar was quite small, but only a small amount is needed. It smells fantastic and it's a little aromatherapy threat for me every time I use it. I'm still getting the hang of using it, and was a bit heavy-handed to begin with. A little goes a long way. It's very greasy, which is nice on my dry skin, and it is absorbed nicely into the skin so that's not a problem. I haven't been using it long enough to see any of the benefits beyond it leaving my skin soft and plumped. Im hopeful with more use my uneven skin will even out and begin to glow. I like this enough to repurchase when this jar is done, and plan to try a couple more items in the brand. Edit: I've already made a further purchase from the Brand. My skin is looking bright and clear, and feels so soft. I reordered the Rose and Frankincense, but in the gift set. The serum was thick and clumpy and gloopy when it arrived, but thinned out to what I was expecting once it reached room temperature. I keep the balm in the fridge to keep it solid. I also ordered the Frankincense and Bergamot Gift set, but I can't comment on that as it has not arrived yet.

Lovely face cream for overnight use. Its quite rich, doesn't immediately sink into my skin but still feels soft and non-greasy. Great scent and makes my skin feel lovely, moisturised and smooth in the morning.

This is GORGEOUS ! Its really rich and I slap it on my face at night and wake up with soft and lovely skin in the morning. It feels a bit greasy at first, but i actually need that as i am older, 60s and have quite dry skin, but it soon absorbs and really id delightful. Gives Neal’s yard a run for it’s money and smells HEAVENLY - I highly recommend - and I don’t usually bother reviewing stuff on Amazon

Love the smell of this face balm I use it every morning after I wash my face. I find it really helps my skin. I do find it very greasy and oily, but then again its all natural so thats what I expect 😉

I postponed buying this for months this and took the plunge as the weather is getting colder and my skin dehydrated from the heating. I'm glad I did. It's more a balm than a cream, it's rich but sinks in the skin beautifully. It's very moisturising, you can tell after a few days your skin is well hydrated. I massage it into my skin every evening and also use a very small amount in the morning under my day cream for extra moisture. The smell is lovely, all natural, no strong chemicals which promise the impossible. This is a winner.

This stuff is fab! I used to use decleor night balm which was really moisturising and plumped up my skin. The only thing was that it was so expensive. Then they stopped producing. I believe they have started again. I happened to come across this product as I searched for "best face moisturiser for dry, aging skin". I ordered it but didn't expect much. This is a really thick balm/moisturiser that almost instantly pumps the skin. It is full of natural ingredients and I would say it's worth every penny. A little goes a long way. I messaged the owner to ask about applying a serum before application (she got back to me straight away) she said that a serum would be fine under it. So my skincare didn't need to change. I apply my serum then my Ilex wood and let it sink in. Lovely. If you have greasy skin, this isn't for you but if your skin needs good nourishment and some tender loving care, I would 100% recommend this product. I ordered a second pot incase it sells out.

Avevo già preso il deodorante di questa azienda e siccome mi sono trovata stra bene ho voluto provare la crema viso. A primo impatto sembra molto oleosa ma vi assicuro che una volta trovata la giusta quantità per la vostra pelle (ne basta davvero pochissima) vi accorgerete su quanto velocemente si assorbe. Io preferisco usarla la sera e al mattino mi ritrovo con una pelle compatta e luminosa. Sono rimasta davvero stupita. La quantità poi in proporzione al prezzo è davvero conveniente. Un prodotto naturale ma efficace allo stesso tempo. La stra consiglio.

c'est un produit utile et efficace

Es ist wie ein Segen, seit Jahren leide ich unter Ekzem an meinen Armbeugen und an den Händen. Dieses Jahr war es sehr schlimm wegen des ständigen desinfizieren der Hände, wegen Corona... Meine Hände waren rissig, bluteten und bildeten Pusteln, die sehr juckten. Das einzige was dabei noch half, war eine Cortisonsalbe. Da ich von der Cortisonbsalbe weg kommen möchte, habe ich schon sehr viele andere Salben versucht, aber bis her hat nie eine andere Salbe den Juckreiz, und die offenen Stellen Lindern können. Durch Zufall stieß ich beim suchen einer Gesichtscreme, gegen das Altern auf diese Salbe. Zu hause angekommen, probierte ich sie direkt aus, auf dem Gesicht und meinem Ekzem an den Händen. Und ich bin begeistert, meine Hände erholten sich sichtbar rasant und sind nach 3 Tagen so super aus, wie seit Monaten nicht mehr. Wenn ich Juckreiz verspüre Creme ich meine Hände ein und der Juckreiz ist sofort weg. 3 mal am Tag Cerme ich gerade meine Hände ein, ich kann merken, das meine Häbde nach der reichhaltigen Creme verlangen. Mein Gesicht Creme ich abends auch mit der Cremen nach dem reinigen ein und die Haut fühlt sich so super weich an, ich habe noch nie so eine reichhaltige und beruhigende Creme gehabt, wo ich merken kann, ja diese Creme ist perfekt für mich und gibt meiner trockenen Haut alles was sie braucht. Ich bin so begeistert und werde mir das große Geschenkeset kaufen von Ilex Wood! Der Geruch ist auch sehr angenehm und natürlich. Normalerweise mag ich lieber Cremen ohne Geruch, aber bei dieser Creme ist alles natürlich und der Geruch kommt von dem Weihrauch, Rosen und anderen wertvollen Ölen. Die Konsistenz der Creme ist vergleichbar mit Margarine, wenn man sie mit warmen Händen aus dem Glastöpfchen holt, schmiltzt es auf dem Finger und man Creme Öl auf die Haut. Die Creme zieht aber auch ein, sie hinterlässt keinen fettigen Film auf der Haut, sondern einen pflegenden schützenden wohltuendes angenehmes Gefühl. Es fühlt sich so toll an, ich bin so begeistert und kann sie nur jedem mit trockener Haut, oder Ekzem empfehlen, oder jedem der seiner Haut einfach etwas gutes tun möchte.

So I wanted to get a face cream with frankincense for rosacea so I decided on this cream. When I got it in the mail I was a little disappointed in the size for the price, it is very tiny, but here is why it still gets a 5*. This is a small business and after doing some research it really looks like the owner takes a lot of time and care into her product. I love that this is all natural. There are no laundry list of ingredients, which I appreciate. The second you open this face cream you can smell the rose and lavender. They must really take the time to infuse the herbs into oils for a good amount of time. The cream is THICK. It covers nicely and smells great. I have very sensitive skin and have had rosacea since I was a baby. I’ve had no bad reaction to it, but even after a month of use it has not helped my redness, but if you have red dry winter skin this protects it nicely. My skin is definitely more hydrated and smoother feeling. Overall this is a nice product. I would recommend and even though its small, a little goes a long way. I can see this easily lasting me 6 months which makes it a good value.
