**Q: How do you program it?**
A: Turn the key from the off to ignition and back to off position 8 times quickly, the doors will lock/unlock to confirm program mode. Press the lock or unlock button on the remote within 10 seconds, doors will lock & unlock to confirm remote was programmed.

**Q: does it work for a 2000 ford focus zts?**
A: Should work on all Focus models !

**Q: Can I program this control for a ford focus 2002 ztw, without the original control?**
A: I bought my Ford Focus second hand, and I did not have the original remote.  I was able to follow the programming instructions that came with the new remote and it works fine.

**Q: How long is the battery supposed to last?**
A: I've had mine for almost exactly 3 years, and I think it's finally starting to go out as of the last week or two. Will be buying again since it worked pretty well.
