I haven't used this one yet, but I'm sure it's going to be the same consistency considering the reviews and the item description. Anyway, I have cats and they hate medication and will not participate in the process willing. I have found that using a little 1ml syringe fits in the spout and if I squeeze it and pull the syringe(no needle) it will fill right up. Then I hide it behind my back and attack with the medication.
