The entire set looks gorgeous; the pattern and the finish are even nicer than in the pictures. The plates and bowls have a decent heft to them, but aren't too heavy, and they've gone through a bunch of cycles in my dishwasher with no problem.My order arrived with one of the smaller plates broken, and Amazon was out of stock so the only option was a return. I contacted the manufacturer, and they were more than happy to ship me a replacement. (Better than shipping the entire set back and forth, too.)Some reviewers have commented on the weird bowls, and they are definitely too shallow, even if they look cool. However, I've found that you can place one bowl upside-down over another in the microwave, and they fit together extremely well to stop any splatters (and act as a bit of a steamer.) I'd rather they were deeper though; I just measured one of my bowls at 19oz to the brim, and only about 12oz to the highest level I'd be comfortable with carrying something like soup.Overall, I give the set a 4.5. They lose half a point because the bowls could be improved, but I'm still quite happy for the $75 I paid.
