I use them monthly here in florida to prevent clogs. In 25 years using these tabs I have never had any clogs. they really work. **Q: Can you use these in a window evaporative cooler/swamp cooler?** A: They work well in a humidifier with a paper filter. I would think it would also work fine in a swamp cooler, but I don't have one of those anymore. **Q: What are the dimensions of the tablets?** A: Smaller than a quarter!!! **Q: Do I place these tablets inside of the pipe that has the floating switch?** A: I use it in a central AC with a pan; switch is in the same pan but not in the draining pipe which is further to the back. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant *by M***E on 12 May 2019* Best on the market ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by T***L on 24 November 2025* Fantastic product for our furnace humidifier. It cleaned it up immediately. Super product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works marginally well on my mini-split heads *by J***N on 14 July 2025* This is my second purchase of these tabs which I use to effectively reduce the musty smell that comes from my two overhead mini-split heat pump heads. Every 10 days or so they start smelling bad when the air flow is slow or they have dried out - active coolers with regular condensation flow do not smell much, only smelly after they have been off overnight or being run without the cooling action. Odor goes away entirely during the winter heating period but returns with moisture condensation during cooling mode. I have not tried other brands which may work better or longer, or may be a waste of money - I chose the US made brand. Shelling out $30 or more for a different brand in a large bottle may save you money, or they may not work as well for you as this brand. Its a gamble. The tabs won't start working until your cooling head is actively dripping condensate onto the tablets, they have to dissolve slowly and flow along the drain trough to work. They are not perfumed. I have never had a clogged drain hose.
