In the time of ever growing PC parts costs, I’m happy to see that the MX-4 paste hasn’t increased drastically (I’m looking at you RAM prices…). This has remained good value. It’s something that’s always useful to have on hand, you never know when you might need to repaste your CPU if you take your pc apart for a deep clean or if it stops working and you’re looking to fix it. Personally, I like to reapply every 3-4 years. Imagine my predicament when I found myself out of it this time! It’s always been a high performer, from a reputable brand too. Compared to some other notable options from the likes of Thermal Grizzly or Noctua (both produce good pastes) this almost always wins on value for money. It’s easy to apply and works great on both fan and liquid coolers to keep your CPU (or GPU if reapplying) cool.

PROS: The amount of devices this can be used for can be endless, It's quite easy to apply but when you mess up it leaves quite a big mess so try not to. The paste quality it's self is good it keeps my cpu temps down to the 40-70 degree range, if the cpu maxs out for a long period of time it would be roughly 70 degrees. The size could last you a couple of years depending on how offten you use it, it comes with a decent amount of thermal paste CONS: Can be hard to clean up if you applied too much, you need to know the balance between how much it too much and how much is just enough. OVERALL: I would recommend this thermal paste because it's from a reputable brand that i trust and so do others. 5/5.

I have absolutely no idea if using different named thermal paste impacts performance. I do know that it's easily installed. Carefully! Paste quality was perfect consistency for applying to the CPU! Performance is perfect! Temps looking good!

Brilliant product, my ps4 pro is super quiet now! 100% recommended. So in terms of performance is just day and night,very good.

Keeps CPU temp to less than 70°C on startup and using CPU-Z stress testing. Cinebench 2014 CPU temp is around 70°C My CPU is AMD Ryzen 7900 Previously I had to keep replacing the paste as the CPU temp went over 90°C and often over 100°C

Excellent paste, easy to apply and the 8g size goes a long way. Used to repaste during multiple refits / replacements when repairing a faulty laptop fan that required the entire CPU/GPU heat pipe cooling module to removed each time a new fan was tried. You don't need much! everal re-fittings used no more than half in total.

In passato andavo alla ricerca della pasta più performante e, circa 8-10 anni fa, la consideravo la Gelid GC-Extreme. Il problema era l'elevata viscosità, che la rendeva di difficile applicazione. Qualche anno fa sono passato alla Arctic Mx 4 che è molto più semplice da applicare e comunque garantisce buone prestazioni. Forse non sarà la miglior pasta in quanto a prestazioni, ma per 1-2° di differenza la Mx4 è assolutamente un best buy in termini di qualità/prezzo e semplicità di utilizzo. Una siringa da 8g la si trova entro i 10€. Io la stendo sempre con carta di credito e l'operazione è abbastanza semplice. Sembra anche che una volta applicata duri abbastanza. L'ho usata su svariate Cpu (3570k, 3770k, Ryzen 1600x, 7 3800x e 5800x, su vari laptop (cpu e gpu) e anche su alcune sk. video dedicate che hanno una discreta dissipazione di calore (amd HD 7970, nvidia Gtx 1070 e Gtx 1080Ti)e devo dire che la pasta si è sempre comporta egregiamente. Sui laptop sono passati diversi anni e ancora vanno una bellezza senza overheating. Sento dire che sulle gpu non è indicata perchè si secca velocemente a causa dell'elevata dissipazione termica, ma onestamente io non ho mai avuto problemi, secondo me dipende anche da una corretta applicazione e montaggio del dissipatore. Molte volte basta una vite o una staffa non serrata bene o un pad termico di 0,5mm più spesso a creare problemi. Se non ricordo male viene garantita 8 anni dalla data di produzione. Proprio nelle scorse settimane ne ho usata una che avevo da 5 anni (siringa già aperta) su una cpu e una gpu ed è andata benissimo.
