I got this when it was on sale. I can’t remember what I paid. Maybe $125 I think normally it was a $100 more. But definitely worth the price! This is used in a sterile area inside my private studio. Everything was perfectly packed and shipped, easy to assemble and it’s very stable, I got the one with casters which made it taller, the one without casters would’ve blocked my outlet, perfect fit! I got 24”x 60”and if I ever need to move away from the wall it’s super easy. You can lock the wheels into place. The casters are heavy duty and well made. I don’t think the bottom shelf is stainless steel, it’s does have a different metal shade to it. But the top shelf seems to be stainless. I have a machine that uses water that gets up to 134 degrees and so far no issues whatsoever. I use the counter everyday. I assembled it nov. 9th and so far no rust or warping. I’m not sure about the other reviewers but mine came pretty solid no dents only 1 small area of a scratch! Its hidden in the back, so it doesn’t bother me. I’ve attached many photos so you can see. You can see the weld spots around the edges, but you got to expect that. The welds on mine are clean and perfect. I’m so glad I purchased!! Great product and price that I paid. Rubbing alcohol helped get the glue from the tape off. The tape for me came off pretty easy, no hassle. Not like what others reviewers said. Highly recommend wiping it down with alcohol after assembly. I then polished it with a stainless steel cleaner.

The delivery was on time, the box was in great condition and when I opened the box I saw a well thought-out package. Only tool needed was a Allen wrench, which was supplied. Very easy to put together, took about 15 minutes. No damage to any parts of the table. The only thing I found strange was in the instructions, it suggested to install the shelf first than the top. I found that to be very cumbersome and not easy to do. I left the table top in the box, turned bottom facing up. Installed the legs into the slots provided, tightened the screws and than installed the shelf, bottom facing up. No where in the instructions did it mention how much distance from the top to install the shelf. I installed it 17 inches from the floor and that seemed to make for a very sturdy installation. Tightened all of the screws and it was done. Turned it over onto it's feet and both the shelf and top were perfectly level, I used a level to check it out. I have been using the table to make breads, pizzas. This is not a negative towards the table, but may be important to know for some. Kneading dough on the table is great, the table stayed in place and the surface was cool and did I did not have any problem with the dough sticking to the surface. What did become a problem is that when I used my Kitchen Aid mixer to make the dough, when I put the mixer on mid speed, as one expects, the mixer does jump around a little, ok a lot, and what happens is the mixer stayed in place, this was great, but the table was moving around on the laminated floor. So far I have not found a correction to this problem. Maybe someone will have a good suggestion. Anyway, glad I bought this table, after the holidays I will be buying a second one.

So a couple prefaces and reasoning for my review and rating ; so I got the 24x48 size table with backsplash. I paid 76.28 for this in April 2025. For whatever reason that was a lot cheaper than the version with the same size with out the backslash. The price was awesome, I couldn't find a used one here in Southern California for that price. I read the reviews and there were comments about difficulty assembling, removing the film as well as scratches and rusting. I just got it today, the assembly wasn't super difficult, I did it myself, I am 50 and fit but not Godzilla and 5'9 155. Was it heavy, yes so if you are not used to moving or aligning heavy pieces you will need help. I would say though heavy, it was easier to assemble that 90% of the Ikea items I have had in life (and I have had a lot). So I wouldn't mark it down for assembly. Regarding the film used to protect it; did take some time to remove it, yes but it wasn't horrible. I just chilled and tried to make it as meditative as possible. Assembly and film removal took like 90 minutes interspersed with a glass of wine. It did come with some scratches, based on the other reviews I was expecting that. Were they horrible, no., it's going to get scratched if you are using anyway. Also considering the price I dont think you can expect something flawless. If I paid $200 for it would I have expected it more flawless. I didnt pay much for it so as a result it's reasonable not to expect perfection.Having said that, it's attractive, seems sturdy, arrived 3 days earlier than promised. It was packaged well. It's day one, I yet cant speak to the comments regarding rusting. I live in the desert in Southern California and it will be used inside, I also plan to keep it clean just using mild dish soap so hopefully that will avoid those issues. The only reason I deducted one star was for the unknown issue yet of rusting/ discoloration mentioned by others. In a few months I will try update the review regarding those issues. This table was easy to assemble and clean. I prepared many meals for my students and loved having this surface for my small space

Esta mesa está construída enteramente de acero inoxidable, a excepción de los apoyos. Su altura es igual a la de la mesada, de tal manera que sirve como una bienvenida extensión en la preparación de ciertos alimentos. Es muy firme y su aspecto es de solidez. No encontré falla alguna en su construcción. Realmente, es una mesa de calidad.
