If you tend to wear a size and a half in your shoes, based on the extra length I have, I would think you can probably order down to the smaller whole size... Unless you tend to wear a wider shoe, but, if you go up you could end up with more length than you want. I bought these shoes predomintely to be a shoe I could put on quickly to go outside (and that would last well with mud or water).
