Came home with packaging intact. Couple of pieces had minor scruff marks from being bound together. All screws and bolts were running around in the box. Thankfully the box itself was intact, without any holes or tears from handling and transport. The blister pack that contained the screws, bolts and nuts was packed by forcing into a gap or got squeezed by heavier pieces moving during transportation. It had bent and opened up. Was able to find all the pieces. There are no spares. So, if one or two were lost, will be a trip to the hardware store to find the correct sized pieces. Assembling with the little spanner that came with it was a challenge. Cannot use any other for the corner nuts as the crossbar mounts and the long side of the frame interfere with any other meaningful means for tightening the bolts. The plus shaped central support is not very sturdy. Need to be careful tightening the bolt to the frame. Cannot be hand tightened and an extra quarter to half a turn. None of the bolts and screws can be hand tightened. Need to use spanners after the first half to one turn. Tightening with a spanner (one that came with the hardware collection or any other) does not "tell" you if it is tightened fully. Since the rectangular central support is hollow, it will crumple if over-tightened. Get pool noodles and cable ties for the exposed supports. Stubbed my toes 5 minutes after setting up the bed. Had a pool noodle at hand and fixed the issue immediately. If there are no pool noodles at hand, use the foam pads that came in the packaging to temporarily fix it. At least the two side ones and three on the foot of the frame. Beware of the corners as well. I had those toddler floor foam mat pieces, which i cut to size and wrapped around the corners. Saved my knees and shins numerous times from the next morning. Good value for the money and sturdy. No squeaks or shifting. Must have pool noodle accessory, may be the manufacturer can ship some with the item. :-)

The Zizin 14-Inch Queen Size Bed Frame exceeded my expectations. For the price, you get solid quality and a very sturdy design. It feels strong and stable, with no creaking or wobbling. Assembly was quick and very easy — everything was clearly labeled and the instructions were simple to follow. I was able to put it together by myself in under 30 minutes. It also offers great under-bed storage space, which is a big bonus. Overall, I’m really happy with this bed frame. If you’re looking for something affordable, durable, and easy to set up, I highly recommend it.

As someone who changes apartments frequently, I needed a good bed frame that is lightweight to move, sturdy and easy to breakdown. Additionally I wanted something reasonable high off the ground for underbed storage. After combing through many reviews on amazon, looking for the best metal bed frame, I saw a common complaint of frames snapping. I saw this, and decided to take a chance on seeing how 'beefy' the frame really is. Assembly was straightforward. The best assembly feature is legs are attached to parts of the frame by a swivel, so it can compactly tuck away. With a dozen or so screws and nuts, it is easy to attach the frame pieces together than drop in the the support bars which are wedged in. After assembly, the mattress can easily slot right in, and since the support bars are a little recessed, it holds the mattress in place. After a week of sleeping on it, it delivers really well. I've only tested this with myself (180 lbs), but no squeak so far, and no mattress sliding. One important thing to note, although the bed is 14 inches tall, you can only really slide objects that are a little under 12 inches tall (see attached pic). Other than that, it works really well for underbed storage.

I was highly satisfied with my purchase. It was in a box that it compact enough to fit into a car if you needed to transport the bed frame after delivery. (I did to a new apartment) The instructions were easy to read if you take the time to read them, my dad and mom were able to assemble the bed frame mostly without instructions because they are familiar with different types of screws and stuff. If you are a single female or college student you definitely can read the instructions and get it together by yourself with a little patience. The tools needed for assembly came inside the box. No missing pieces in box. The frame is steardy and good quality and the mattress sits down into the slats to prevent sliding of the mattress. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the queen size bed frame was several inches bigger than my queen bed and I will need to add a small piece of ply wood from the last slat to the ends of the frame. Easy fix. Worth the price, I rather have a bed frame that is slightly bigger than one that doesn’t keep my mattress from sliding at all. If you are moving into your first apartment and are on a budget this is the best bang for your buck with really good quality.

I recently moved into an "independent living" place (yes, I'm old) and took the opportunity to get rid of an old, heavy, wooden bed frame as well as the old box springs I had been using for many years -- and which put the mattress so high off the floor, my arthritis was now requiring me to use a stool to climb into bed. So I took only the newer pillow-top mattress with me when I moved. I had the packaged platform frame shipped to the new address and it arrived in perfect condition, with all the expected parts, and with the two small tools required to assemble it. Took me all of ten minutes to unbox it and bolt it together (and I'm not at all a handy person). The platform fits the mattress exactly, it feels exactly the same to my body as the box springs, it doesn't shift or squeak at all when I turn over (every half-hour) at night, it's not at all heavy, and it's easy to move and to dust under. The price seems quite fair, what I wold expect to pay for a decent product -- and I did see a number of other brands that appeared identical, both at Amazon and elsewhere, that were priced rather higher. I would recommend this item for anyone from college students to fogies like me, and my son is so impressed by it, he's planning to replace an old metal box-spring frame in his guest room with one.

When I bought it the price of fair I'm not sure the price now but it's good quality easy to take part though I did put a board over it before I put my bed on it I recommend doing so to not damage your mattress or box spring however is still a very good quality and easily assembled bed frame

It comes with the tools to put it together and it’s easy to assemble. It’s well made and looks good and you can add a headboard. The frame was slightly larger than the mattress but doesn’t really affect anything. Overall I’d buy again. I’d recommend putting something under the legs so it won’t scratch floors if it moves. We put the anti skid on the bottom and it’s on laminate floors so it stays put well. Otherwise it will move around easily on laminate or any smooth surface.

I bought a queen size. This was very easy to assemble by looking at the one page picture that was included. All hardware was supplied to include an Allen wrench. It took 2 of us about 20 - 30 minutes to have it all together and in place with the mattress on it. I am not using a box springs and the support is fine for a mattress - it works like a platform bed and I am not using a bunk board. There are holes in the frame for adding a headboard. Unfortunately they did not align with my headboard but we drilled holes in the headboard, bought the necessary hardware and it is now securely attached to the bed frame. This was also an easy process. The only concern I have with the frame is that when you walk around the bed you can easily bang your toes, feet and shins into the metal frame and especially the legs - OUCH! I have ordered bumper material to add so my guests do not hurt themselves. In all fairness, this was not a surprise to me which is why I still gave it 5 stars. I would recommend, especially for sturdiness and ease of assembly.

Bought this to replace an old school frame with box spring my mom had in her house. Pleasantly surprised and how strong and sturdy it was. Lots of room underneath to store stuff and it was easy to attach a head board we already had. Would definitely buy again!
