Really dresses up my TJ

This hugs the hood of the TJ real nice, It also has a nice 3D AVS emblem on it, Out of all the ones i looked at this was by far the best looking and best priced one, amazon got it to me in about 5 days and its awesome. 1 small thing was it was shipped in a big box, about twice the size of the item, it was a universal box though i could tell, not alot of protection just wrapped in some placstic, but it had that extra plastic wrapping hugging the item and that allowed no scratches or scuffing to happen in shipping. This is a only 3m tape model however, so if your going to be drag racing or offroading the hell out of it, im not sure if I would grab this one. But it does hug the hell out of the hood and looks very sexy!

This thing looks great. All of the hood protectors that bolt,Velcro, tape to the hood that stand off the hood look bad and flap in the wind. That’s just like the one I removed form nu TJ. Install is simple. Use the alcohol wipes to clean the hood so the 3M tape will stick to the hood. You need 2 ppl to make sure you get it on in the proper place. Just follow the instructions and all will be good. I let my jeep sit in the sun the following day before I drove it. I’m guessing the ppl that reviewed this item and said it flew off didn’t clean the hood properly and drove the vehicle right away. Mine is rock solid. This is NOT as nice as the Bushwacker brand but they don’t offer one for the TJ.

Looks very nice on my 04 wrangler TJ rubicon, fit perfectly and adds a nice black accent to the front end of your vehicle. Serves very little purpose other than looks, if you have dents and/or scratches on the front of your hood this is a nice cover up. By far the best looking hood shield I found on amazon, is very stylish. Pro tip : take your time making sure it is placed correctly, if you need to remove it and place it a second time it will slightly peel off over time (3m doublesided tape to the rescue)

Not much for functionality but look wise it’s great! Package arrived on time and nothing was damaged. It came with instructions and prep wipes, pretty straightforward. The adhesives stick well but since i just put it on, let’s see how long it will stay

As for the shield itself was perfect, but the alcohol wipe damaged the paint.

Arrived when they said it would and fits like a glove. Looks like it should be there, much better than the old one I had.

Had this on my jeep for about a month, looked great. I took all precautions, thoroughly cleaning the mounting surface and prepping the area for the adhesive, but I was on the highway at top speed ((about 65mph in my Wrangler with 35's..) not fast at all) and adheisive on the drivers side let go. Then proceeded to snap in half on the highway. And after closer inspection, the side that let go wasnt from the hood, but to the product itself, the strip of adhesive was still on my hood and let go of the product. Luckily no one was hurt and no damage was done to anyone else but it left a scratch on my hood when it came off. Would not recommend to anyone who actually drives their jeep and takes it on the road. I decided not to return it because with a product this poor/dangerous: I can only assume their customer service would be a reflection of that. Im just gonna chalk it as a loss.
