I don’t know if this a 3/8 screw or not. Works great **Q: Does this work with picatinny rails?** A: The pic rails are a totally different beast. This clamp is designed to fit on release plates of tripods for cameras, and requires a release plate of the same design as Arca Swiss. The plats screw into the standard 1/4" screw mounts on the bottom of cameras and camcorders and the like so you can mount and unmount them from the tripod.
