I used 3 screw. Drill a hole in the unseen side of the threshold then a small pilot hole in you plank. attach counter sunk screws then lay the threshold. Then fit your next plan. Hope this helps. I was thinking of 210cm, Ineed it that big to go in front of my French doors.** A: I have a 2.4 m strip across the inside of my French windows covering the edge of solid oak flooring and a 2.2 m strip joining my old dining room oak floor to a new oak floor on a recent extension. Both are fine, I wouldn’t hesitate to use solid oak on the outside providing you seal it with external varnish or hard wax and use a silicone sealant around the edges to keep it nice and dry.
