My fears were unfounded.My goal was to move my router from one place in my home to the other end of the house where my son uses his phone and laptop most often and near my wifes home office for a better signal.This cable was very easy to route through my house above a dropped ceiling in my basement and through 2 sill plates. The signal I get is consistent and strong. The cable is double shielded to eliminate cross talk and signal degradation.I could have purchased a home wifi signal amplifier set for a couple hundred dollars or install this cable.
