I didn't need a clean bag, and wanted the tubes to flow directly from the filter to a Platypus Plus Bottle. We carried two of the Plus Bottles, and this worked perfect for our travels through central/south america for the last 8 months. It is compact, light, no pumping required, no iodine or chlorine, gravity fed, and fills a liter bag in less than 2 minutes. I did replace the strap/buckle with 1.8mm Reflect It cord with a brummel loop splice and a dutch hook to reduce the bulk and because the strap seemed to hold water when wet. The wide mouth opening makes scooping up water from a shallow source really easy and the placement of the outflow means you can easily get most or all of the water out, easier than a bladder that has the outflow located on the front face (like most CamelBak bladders do). Platypus does make a 4L version of this but it's unnecessarily large and bulky. The zip opening makes it easy to scoop up water from a stream or lake. Great system for plugging in the tube which starts the flow. Concerned the clamp will eventually damage the tube.
