GSI Outdoors 74125 Compact Scraper , Grey, 3.4 inch

Fits into my Toaks pot kitchen with minimal weight penalty. Gives me a "spatula" to scramble my eggs and also helps to clean the pot afterwards.

I bought this to add to my GSI kitchen set. I think it depends on what you need in your kitchen set. This is probably an item I would leave out for a backcountry hike, but for car camping, I felt it would be useful. GSI includes a scrapper to help get the pot clean (for washing). However, if you are like me, you cook some instant potatoes, oatmeal and other trail foods where the scrapper could be useful to help get that last bite or two from the pot. Time will tell if it's a useful addition for my kitchen kit. Pros: It seems durable and well made. It's compact and lightweight. It's a scrapper, so what else is there to say. It works to scrape a pot. Serves the purpose. Cons: It may be overkill if you are looking for backcountry kitchen items. Probably paid a little for the brand name.

This little tool is great for camping and home use. Soft edge to get all the gunk off your pans and a hard edge for scraping. Doesn’t scratch non-stick surfaces.

Yes you probably could just use a spatuala to remove most things from pots and pans before washing them. But, this little guy is much easier to use for its function, there is a hard edge and a soft edge which makes it easy to remove the foods from your pots, plates and pans. Designed more so for on the trail and the campsite, I use it both at home and on the road. Although I have not tried it but if you are a minimalist this probably could be used as a spatuala.... Anyway, a good product. Designed well, and although small in size for travel it is sized just right to still make it a tool that will work in most everyones hands. Construction and materials are top notch.

I was reluctant to get this feeling that it was a bit superfluous, but cleaning cookware at a campsite without a sink or brush is a pain. This little tool is small and lightweight and has proved very worthwhile. The rigid scraper side was much more effective than my usual billow pad, and the flexing scraper side kept me from having to dirty up my one rag wiping away greasy food residues or wasting a lot of water. Great tool. Worthy addition to the pack.

this thing is amazing !! i bought it for camping , worked great .. but then i used it at home as well and wow - eggs , cheese - all the items that gross up your sponges ??!! - use this to wipe off first . nonstick pans , lodge skillet - this thing !!! does not scrap your pans but removes anything from your dirty pots !! will be buying more as christmas gifts !

I have this in my backpacking and camping gear, and it does the job. Strong enough to scrape out my cast iron while camping, small, light, and gentle enough to use on my jet oil setup when cleaning. Just pick which side to use. I have 2 at this point and it’s well worth the 5 ish bucks.

très pratique, bien conçu, s'adapte à toutes les formes de plats ou de casseroles en fonte (comme dans mon cas)! Un côté plus souple que l'autre. Bien utile!

I’ve used this camping and at home - it is a must-have tool. It does not scrape the coating off the pots, pans or dishes and does a miraculous job compared to a sponge.
