In their brochure it says 13 amp. I bought mine back in Feb 2012 wiring between house and shed for a supply. So i don`t think it is meant for 30 amps. Mine has been outside in all weathers and has not leaked yet. **Q: I am wanting black ones of these masterseal junction boxes part number k56506blk are you getting any of these ?.** A: I don't think that MK do a black version of this. I have only seen white and grey. **Q: does this have a rear entry knockout** A: Yes, however, unlike the side access holes, it is not a push out plug, but an actual old school knock-out section. BUT, it is NOT in the center of the box, it is offset, so if you were to use it, it will make using the supplied connection hub somewhat difficult, if not impossible. If you need to use a rear entry point, i would drill a 20mm hole in the center using a small hole saw ans connect a suitable cable access gland or conduit connector., that way the cable will access in the middle of the connection hub supplied and it will be much more user friendly. **Q: What size glands does it need** A: The knock-outs (one on each side) are M20, so they are for 20mm glands ! There is a knock-out on the back but it is off centre for some reason ! My installation was 'top' and 'side' and I had no problems.
