The range is good when the antenna is correctly installed. ample output gain to drive most amplifiers, and the audio quality is excellent.The DN-200BR works perfectly for my application. It was recently installed in the sound equipment rack at a moderate sized banquet hall. When the DN-200BR is NOT paired there are NO tones produced (like so many consumer Bluetooth receivers will do), additionally the DN-200BR does not auto-connect. This is particularly important in a commercial application where a previously paired device might cause a problem when a new device needs to be paired.I am a commercial audio service tech for the last 30+ years. The external mag-mount BNC-connected antenna sets this unit apart from everything else I had tried before - stick it up high on the window or a railing for great line-of-sight reception, vs other products with antennas nestled in with power and signal wires inside a rack.The audio quality is fantastic, and the built-in level control makes it easy to setup with whatever the house sound board has available so I'm not messing with their presets. Pairing is consistent and reliable, even after power cycling it remembers the last phone and reconnects. Shows up right away with iPhone SE and 6S.Note that this unit has "pro-level" outputs 4dB balanced, vs the -10dB unbalanced output used with consumer gear.
