And find these magnets, after drilling holes and nut and bolting the magnets to the rack. Was really impressed with how strong they and work great. Only thing I would advise is not to over tighten as the magnet will crack, so only do hand tight! would highly recommend this item

**Q: Will these magnets hold knives when separated by 2/3 mm of wood in a knife rack? Also what’s the purpose of the iron cover?**
A: The interval requires less than 1 mm. The iron shell can enhance the single-side suction of the magnet, and protect the magnet, the magnet is fragile.

**Q: I wanna put these on my wall, What size rawl plug would I need?**
A: the hole size is 2.5mm, screw would be a size 4,plug small to fit this. hope this helps.

**Q: How far apart will a pair of these magnets attract each other? I need something that will work on opposing surfaces of a thick double glazed window.**
A: The magnets have the same polarity on top.  They can't attract each other.  The magnet can attract steel parts with a separation of 5mm, but the strength is a lot lower.

**Q: Xresistance to heat?**
A: Well I suppose it depends what your calling heat and how hot that heat is, they are metal but I have never taken a blowtorch to mine so I cant help.

These are really strong. Very powerful. I used these for a very specific DIY project and they were good. Unfortunately I was very close to the work when I was I stalling one and it flipped round and got stuck on my braces, (teeth braces). I couldn't get it moved no matter how hard I tried. Phone call to dentist and a trip to his surgery to get the braces removed before I could get the magnet off them. Braces binned. Waiting for a new set. Strong magnets.
