Good sound quality, lasted me about 10 months before snapping. They weren't handled roughly, just put in and out of a desk drawer every day. They look and feel clean and simple - which is quite a different thing. Their white (or whatever color you happen to buy them in) shell actually covers over some very nice internal metal components which show themselves when you extend the earpieces down, and the finish is great.Putting them on, the first sensation is that the pads are a fantastic material - not only very, very comfortable but also very good at reducing ambient noise. These are not on-ear headphones of the sort that will let you keep listening to your surroundings - they are not noise-cancelling, but they do significantly cut down on noise.Play some music (my first test was a great recording of the Korngold Violin Concerto in D) and it's obvious that these are quality headphones.
