EnviroCare Premium Replacement Vacuum Cleaner Dust Cup Filter made to fit Hoover Elite Rewind Uprights

I don't want to sound repetitious but again I can only say this is an awesome hepa filter. I have an Elite Rewind vacumn cleaner and this fits beautifully into my cannister with no attachment issues whatsoever. I've been purchasing these dependable filters annually and I'm totally happy everytime I'd ordered and received them from Amazon. The filter is reusable and performs dutifully (heavy dirt and powder suck into the filter from vacumning) after numerous washings or toothbrush cleanups. After several vacumnings I'd safely soak it with a small amount of clorox and warm water just to deodorize clean and keep it fresh and new. The fabric like material is strong and durable and can last for a good long time. A must for anyone who owns a Hoover vacumn cleaner :)

My 15 year old Hoover had never seen a new filter, ugh...I know. I just kept hand washing it, until my machine started acting up and not sucking up very well anymore. I was ready to buy a new Hoover. Well, I read reviews that it just may need a new filter, so I decided to buy a new filter. It came quickly and I I had absolutely no problem putting this new one in. I even dusted and cleaned the vacuum before I Vacuumed, lol funny cleaning your cleaning appliance. I even went and replace the little vacuum light; however, I think my nightlights give off more light than this little vacuum light. That part is really lacking, but Now the vacuum works great again, just like new. Now the trick will be for me to remember to dump out the dirt from the canister each time I use it. The filter will do better that way. I kept the info, so I will order another in about a year; this time I won't go as long without replacing it.

We had used our vacuum so much in the past few months (we recently moved) that the filter began to REALLY stink. I tried cleaning it, but at this price, it was well worth getting rid of. I was a little hesitant as there were some reviews on here that mentioned the part NOT fitting correctly. I had this part shipped to me within just a few business days and it slid right into the collection chamber. No problems with fitting. Satisfied with the purchase price and you can't beat free shipping. Best price on the internet or in any retail store.

I got worried when I saw others' reviews stating this was not the same as the Hoover brand filter, but when my order arrived, they were identical to the original Hoover filter. It does take some adjusting to get the filter into the canister, I used my fingernail to trace a groove around the top foam washer and it made installation much easier.One thing I will mention, when I purchased my Elite Rewind a few years back, the box stated the filter was a lifetime washable filter that would not need replacement, but the recommendation on the Hoover site is to replace filters every 3-6 months. I just replaced the original filter after 2+ years because it was not working as well. You might be able to use one filter per year, jut make sure to clean the filter each time you empty the canister.

First off, this is not an OEM filter (not manufactured by Hoover). It is manufactured by Crucial Vacuum. But that's not a problem because these are actually much better than the OE part.These are true HEPA standard filters and fit VERY tightly to eliminate filter bypass. The reviews that say they don't fit are incorrect. They fit, just very snugly. It'll take a few tries to assemble the filter canister.The vacuum already has a HEPA exhaust filter, but that doesn't protect the mechanical internals from dust buildup (whereas these do,) and it's not zero bypass so fine particles will re-enter the room.Also, these are WASHABLE with water! (Visit the Crucial Vacuum website for washing instructions.) This doubles the filter life to 6 months and makes these much cheaper than the OE filters.I'm very pleased with this surprise, I just wish the Amazon review accurately described the brand.

When I ordered it, I was a little worried that it won't fit into the space in the vacuum cleaner because some of the review said they had some problem fitting it into the machine. When I asked my wife, she didn't have a problem with the part fitting in and it worked as it should. So far, I haven't heard any complaints about it not working or causing any problems. Next time I need a filter, i will probably order the same filter through Amazon without a doubt. Oh, another thing is it arrived in time, so everything went as it was expected. Thanks for the manufacturer and Amazon for the promise and delivery.

I am not sure what some of the reviewers were talking about when they said that the filter was not a hoover filter nor did it fit. Maybe they were sent the wrong item or the company has since changed the item. The outside bag said hoover filter on it. Not that that means anything but it looked exactly like my original filter. It fit perfectly and the vaccum is like brand new again. It wasn't picking up well and when I used the attachment, dirt would fly out the back. It was because I needed to clean the filter. I love that I have 2 now. So while one filter is drying I can use the other one and I am not left without a vaccum.
